This blog presents an alternative way to realize the inbound mapping of DataSource fields to InfoObjects. Instead of the manual graphical mapping in the transformation, we will maintain a central control table with all mapping rules and use an ABAP building block to dynamically perform the mapping. It is complementary to and can be used in conjunction with the Data Warehouse InfoObjects’ approach.
